From a Soccer Program to a Neighbourhood Movement
It all started with a Saturday soccer program, bringing residents of the Glenbrook housing community together and creating a safe space for children to play.
Today, at Umoja Community Mosaic, our programs remove barriers so children, youth, and families can learn, lead, and belong. Everything we do is free, close to home, and supported by staff who reflect the communities we serve.

Looking to give back, gain hands-on experience, and have fun in the sun? Join us as a volunteer across our programs—from the THRIVE Afterschool Program and Women’s Community Sewing Program to Summer Soccer Camps and Drop-In Sports Programs (soccer and basketball), and more.
No specific experience needed—just energy, flexibility, and a passion for working with kids, youth and community members from diverse backgrounds.
