DROP OFF OR ARRANGE DELIVERY
We’ll work with you to arrange a convenient drop-off or delivery.
Help us create welcoming spaces where community can connect, learn, and grow.
Donations of office supplies and furniture help equip our hubs and programs with the tools and spaces our staff, volunteers, youth, and families need to thrive.
Current needs: paper, new files or hanging folders, stationary, good quality office chairs, small desks, lockable filing cabinets with keys
Sport Inclusion
Help every child feel like they belong on the field and in their community. In-kind donations of sports equipment and gear help make sport more accessible and inclusive for children and youth—including the hundreds of girls who participate in our sports and leadership programs.
Current needs: Good quality: soccer balls, basketballs, cones, nets, cleats for children & youth, shin guards, goalie gloves, sports bags, water bottles
THRIVE Afterschool
Help young people learn, explore, and thrive after the school day ends. Donations of learning and creative materials help us create engaging spaces where children can build skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
Current needs: books, notebooks, pencils, markers, art supplies, STEM/STEAM materials, craft supplies, games, puzzles, educational resources, and backpacks.
Food & Snacks
Help us nourish our community, one meal and snack at a time. Donations of packaged and non-perishable foods and snacks help provide nutritious options for children and families participating in Umoja programs and support our work to reduce barriers to food access.
Current needs: granola bars, crackers, cereal, canned goods, pasta, rice, oatmeal, juice boxes, dried fruit, nut-free snacks, and other shelf-stable foods.
Women's Programs
Help us empower women and bring our community together, one stitch and gathering at a time. Donations of sewing supplies, fabric, craft materials, and items for community events help support Umoja’s women’s sewing programs, create opportunities for connection, and strengthen community bonds.
Current needs: fabric, thread, sewing notions, craft supplies, and refreshments or food for community gatherings.
And More ...
There are many ways to support our community beyond financial donations. Your in-kind donation can help strengthen our programs, support families, and make our community spaces more welcoming, accessible, and inclusive.
Current needs: Barbecue and cover – safe and reasonably good condition, patio furniture – table and a few chairs, garden plants and landscaping (in spring, for our hubs!), Paint and painting volunteers to update our offices, gift cards for participants.
